pics from St. Paul.

As I said before- for the last 3 days I’ve been at the scrapbook shop (www.scrapbookshopofstpaul.com) and it has been way fun!! I am trying to figure out how I just wrapped up day 3. All I can say is- TIME FLIES!!! There has been very little sleep, free time, or photos for one of my trips. There has been LOTS of great meetings, crops, laughter, fun, and of course FISKATEER LOVE!!!

I think it’s safe to say that everyone had a wonderful time and that I would love to get to come back. Here, as promised, is the trip in photos. That is, the few times I had enough free time to think about photos!

I rented a compact car. (aka cheapest available) At the counter I had to wait a few minutes… they had nothing available in my class and were waiting on a 2door/compact (ANY compact) car available. then I got to C17 and found this.

stang.JPG yes, a BRIGHT yellow/orange (depending on light) mustang. Or, as I’ve been calling it “da stang”. I am telling you I just can not rent a normal car that just blends. Nope my file is marked for funky cars. Every time my sleep deprived body sees the ’stang I giggle and smile. It just really hits my funny bone. Oh- and believe that people comment on the car. a LOT.

amy.JPG Next up here is Amy (co-founder of Cloud 9) and me at the store during the meet ‘n greet. Got to give away LOADS of rain dots, hang out, eat yummy baked goods and play with cloud 9 stuff. What could be more fun?

sbs.JPG st1.JPG st3.JPGrh.JPG Here’s pics of the SUPER AMAZING AWESOME scrapbook shop and it’s equally impressive owner, Rhonda. Seriously- such a great vibe in here, she has it so pretty and full of samples and eye candy, and it’s just such a HAPPY PLACE. I love happy places like this!

glaze.JPG her glitter glaze display. (happy sigh)

demo.JPG demonstrator training! So great to share my love of tools with others- and fiskateer Paula (who is already a CFD) was so super helpful- couldn’t have done it without her!!

I think based on my camera, most of my pics with fiskateers are on other cameras. make sense? So that’s what I’ve got to share with you tonight. Have I mentioned I so can NOT believe it’s day 4 (it’s after midnight)!!! This time tomorrow I’ll be sleeping in my bed. And as much fun as I’ve had… this girl is BEYOND tired and needs a whole lotta sleep, water, and rest.

Have a great sunday fiskateers!

We are going to miss you so much here. I hope you’ll still check in. I hope it doesn’t sound creepy, but I really have come to think of you as a friend and I think all of us regulars are always proud of your accomplishments and will continue to keep an eye out for your books and other work. You’ve never done less than a fabulous job as a lead Fiskateer. Thank you so much for all the time and work you have put into this wonderful online place.

That was the BEST scrapbooking store I have been in a long time. I love the way she had did samples…mini books & pages everywhere. I just wanted to buy everything & take it home. She also had such a large variety & last nite I spent quite some time playing with a project I bought from her & hope to finish it off today! Wish we had a store like that near us! Hats off to the owner & her helper was great too! I’m just sad I missed the crop & meeting other Fiskateers!
