Linda Auclair: Mom is where the heart is

They say home is where the heart is, and for me, home is where my Mom is! I’ve been blessed with a close relationship with my mother my entire life, and wanted to create a page that celebrates that bond. Heidi Grace’s “A Little Bird’s Tale” collection illustrates a love of home and family in Heidi’s unique style and a fun color scheme, and was the perfect choice for a page about my Mom. My Mom is crafty, and instilled in me a love for stitching of all sorts, so I included stitching in my page, both hand (on the roof of the little paper pieced house) and machine (around the edges of the page). Mother’s Day is swiftly approaching; why not celebrate your own family ties with a special page about your Mom? I love this quote: “wherever you wander, and wherever you roam, be happy and healthy and glad to come home.”
May has some Heidi Grace goodies for one lucky person- winner will be selected and contacted via e-mail.
