A scrappers goodie bag dream. Well, we put all the decorations out together as a family. We havent done the tree yet. Because the hub likes a real tree, so we are going to possibly go this weekend to find a tree that Dominic will choose. Bring home and decorate it. But we love baking cookies.. it makes this time feel sooo good to be home and brings back memories of the holidays. if that made any sense… oother than picking out our tree and misc christmas decor around the house we should be done. We do plan on going for sleigh rides and visiting santa at the train station…. with some yumnmy hot cocoa and such too….. they do a polar express theme…..

November 29th, 2007 at 9:34 amI’ve been busy putting up decorations in my house. Each year I procrastinate and usually end up not getting everything out. So this year I’ve really started early. I got my tree up on Friday and fully decorated by Sunday. Now I need to finish the little touches I do throughout the house. I also need/want to get some shopping done. That’s the hard part with two little ones needing lots of my attention!

November 29th, 2007 at 11:46 amWe started decorating the house - the family room is done and now need to work on the rest. This Saturday we are going to a Christmas musical drama at one of the Bible schools in the province. It has become a tradition to go with good friends of ours and a great way to start the holiday season.

November 29th, 2007 at 9:21 pmLove the scissors and can certainly understand the “holly.”
I’ve already started my Christmas shopping (and shopping for my DD’s wedding in January) and plan on getting the wrapping paper out this weekend to get that project underway. I’ve thought about getting the tree but can’t put it up until the weekend before my birthday (17th) as our family tradition. I am also making a lot of little gifts for family, friends and co-workers along with a small Christmas craft sale here in the neighborhood. Where or where am I drawing that time from….late nights and early mornings. Hope everyone has a happy holiday season.

November 30th, 2007 at 1:23 pmWell, we have the outside completely decorated… I have started the inside, I have a few things here and there. The tree is up, lights are on, but I still have to finish the ornaments and prepare under the tree for the presents. I started wrapping this morning.. I have things stashed here and there that I have bought through out the year (that way it doesn’t hit as hard at the holiday) Now I just have to find everything LOL.. so that’s on my agenda for Saturday. Sunday I will be volunteering for our Girl Scout Christmas Craft Workshop. We do it every year. The girls get together and make their own gifts to give their family - it’s a wonderful day!
