Howdy! Hold onto your hats Fiskateer friends. I have some exciting news to share with you. I am so excited to share with you Fiskateers about a very special event coming up at the beginning of November.
About a year and a half ago this Fiskateer vision was just that . . . a vision and it’s become so much more. It has become a journey of friendships, passions, creativity, and most importantly life. I think I can speak for the four of us (myself, Stephenie, May and Holly) that it has been such a wonderful experience to find so many others of you out there that share these same feelings, passions, interests, experiences and the “Fiskars love.”
Well, we are ’spreading the Fiskars love’ once again in a very big way. There are fifty of you passionate Fiskateers that have been invited to San Antonio, Texas for the Fiskateer Roundup on November 2nd through the 4th. It will be a very special weekend. The fifty that decide to head to Texas will be trained as certified demonstrators, inspired, touched and prepared to go out into the crafting world with more knowledge, a greater love, and an opportunity to build into others lives through their passion for crafts.
Whether you are the first fifty or possibly the next to ’saddle up’, there is a lot of fun that’s just beginning. We will be having ‘live reports’ from the Fiskateer Roundup in Texas. This will be our first round up but you can join the posse. As things play out, we will evaluate and will see what is to come. We are hoping this will be a success and the first of future roundups.
So for the thousands (yes, I can say thousands) of you Fiskateers . . . I encourage you to join the posse, stay tuned, stay active (on the blog and message boards), stay up to date and keep spreading that love. You are awesome and I (we are blessed). Keep spreading the Fiskars love.
Riding off into the sunset . . .
