Here comes Father’s Day!

Are you ready? I am a bad girl… just mailed out (the store bought cards I’ve had forever) today. (but) this year I was super good and made my husband a card and a mini book! (from our daughter, of course)

dad's day cardOk- DISCLAIMER: I do NOT make cards. (well… not usually) I’m not good at it and so a handmade card from me is RARE. For this I hand drew the tie shape and cut it out, then added lines around to help it “pop”. Patterned paper and D are both from Heidi Grace. It was super quick, easy, and I kinda think it’s cute. =)

dad mini bookNow this is a Cloud 9 (meadow collection) accordion album. To make it “regular” instead of accordion I put a little piece of book binding tape along the left side to “bind” the covers together. Then I just printed out pics at about 3 1/2″ wide/tall and popped them in with a bit of ribbon and stickers! (note: ribbon and chipboard D are cloud 9 too) Total about 45 minutes, and I KNOW daddy will be pumped to have a brag book of new pics of his little girlie. =)

PS: Spy cam did NOT go to the A’s game. It was on the chair in my studio. I just found it because I finally went to go create something. And for the record Jason told me it would be in the studio and I told him it was not… EGG ON MY FACE!!!! (oh well. Got my camera! WHEE!)

Love your little brag book - have that paper and you’ve inspired me. I think I may have to try to make them for a few of the dads in our family.
